My Coaching Philosophy
You are already creative, resourceful & whole. You don’t *need* coaching. But you are likely to benefit from being supported in defining and moving towards your goals
Clients have worked with me on a range of issues including:
- Career leaps: before & after
- Developing leadership in challenging environments e.g. as a new leader, as an introvert, or as a woman
- The work / family / passion-project juggle
- Building new relationships
My coaching is about connecting my clients with their deeper intentions and purposes, to articulate and reach for their most precious hopes & dreams. Ultimately, coaching aims to change the course of your life… to one you choose
I am bold, listen intently & support you with warmth, humour & understanding gained from working in People roles at a senior level for 20 years
I limit the number of clients in progress so each has my full attention. I operate a waiting list and after deciding to work together (see Coaching Discovery), I will let you know the earliest possible start date.
I have been coached myself by amazing practitioners for over 15 years (and counting!) so have first hand experience of how impactful a great coach can be. I can’t imagine moving through this complex life without the bespoke support of a coach. They have been instrumental in helping me build a life that’s mine, that I love.
I am a graduate of Tara Mohr’s Playing Big: Facilitators Training and I’m currently working towards my Co-Active Coaching certification (CPCC) I highly recommend both of these programs and use both in every coaching session.
All of my clients have come to me via my network, from recommendation and/or referral. I don’t advertise my coaching services (other than recently on this page!)
An initial 90 minute Coaching Discovery session gives us the opportunity to see if there is a “fit”. We will then design a bespoke coaching package, just for you. During the session we’ll talk about what you want from a coach, your challenges and hopes, your personal values, and anything else that’s important to you. We also talk about logistics such as frequency, location, start date, pricing etc. There is no charge for this Coaching Discovery session.
I coach mainly over video or phone, or in-person from the Breakfast People HQ in Clarendon Road which is 3 minute walk from Redhill.
We will begin when you are ready to move ahead, and as close to your preferred start date as possible.
By far the most effective way to explore coaching together is to have a 90 minute Coaching Discovery session, to see if there’s a fit. We will work together to design a coaching program that best meets your needs & I’ll answer any logistical questions you have. By experiencing my coaching, you can decide if it’s something you’d like to invest your energy, time & money into, & discover what’s possible for you.
Like a new pair of shoes, you’ll need to try me on for size.
Once you’ve experienced the Coaching Discovery session and reflected on the design of your bespoke coaching package, you can take the time you need before proceeding to the next stage. There’s no pressure for you to move ahead if it doesn’t feel like the right time.
